Speechless Sunday ~ I Love To Swim!

This is our baby Lila Bleu. We rescued her from the Sweetwater Animal Shelter in April of this year. She is 14 months old. We were really hoping to get her to love the water, since we spend a lot of time in our pool as well as the river. Once we got her started, she will not quit! Even if we get out of the water, as long as she has her life vest on, she feels just fine going in the water by herself! (We never let her when we are not around) I can only imagine if we did not keep the fence closed to the pool. She would be out there every day, all day. Probably lounging in the chairs with an umbrella drink at her side! She LOVES to swim!

Looks like she is having a ball for sure ----- fun story- have a nice weekend.
The underwater pic is WAY COOL * my hounds have webbed feet for swimming and they have never had the opportunity!
Lila Bleu is so cute! From the pictures, it shows how much fun she is having, what an energetic lady!
That's great! Today signals the last day of summer for the Jersey Shore. No more swimming for me at my pool - its not heated and I don't like water temp below 80 degrees.
It's not Five O'Clock here yet, but reserve one of those umbrella drinks for me, Stephanie.
Enjoyed your post & photos.
How neat and Lila Bleu found the greatest parents! She obviously loves the water and it shows. Hope she doesn't learn to jump the fence!

Lila Bleu is awesome. She looks like she is having a blast. I had an irish setter that went off the diving board like that in the past - they do love the water. My setter now goes in the ocean and loves it - just work givng him a bath after.
Stephanie, I am sure Lila Bleu will love the water!
Lila Bleu looks like one happy dog...right at home in the water.
I love to swim too! I have an American Eskimo dog, that I thought would enjoy a few things with me, including swimming. But he hates swimming, and he hates riding in the car:-(
AWWWW! Lila is lovin' it! Luna is a river dog but not a pool dog, go figure. Won't go past the steps usually. I think she's such a control freak she doesn't want to feel she would need to climb out. Control freak dog. :)
