Happy Labor Day!
Labor Day weekend indicates the end of summer. I am not ready for summer to be over! Wasn't it just Memorial Day? I could have sworn that was just a couple of weeks ago!
The weather in San Diego this summer has been the coolest in years! We even hit some record lows t
his summer! It hadn't been this cool since 1887 or something crazy like that!
I am hoping the Sun Gods are nice and give us the warmth we missed this summer into October and November. Although that won't do us very well for fire season. (usually October) I can do without the Santa Ana winds that usually come in September. (since I am doing some asking here) But, all in all, it has been a great summer.
Today we will be celebrating NOT working with a great day by the pool, some burgers on the grill and some nice cold adult beverages! A good day indeed!
Tomorrow the kids all go back to school, we all go back to the daily grind and prepare ourselves for the upcoming holiday season. Before you know it, it will be Christmas!
